Speedee was cuming on former mascot in the 1950s and the 1960s before being replaced by Ronald McDonald. He was voiced by Willard Scott, also the creator and portrayer of Ronald McDonald. Before the golden arches, he was the logo for the restaurant. Speedee is a hamburger with a chefs hat and cook's clothing, sometimes holding a sign saying "I'm Speedee". Even though he was the mascot, he appeared in no commercials.
